Warehousing

Agway Systems, Inc. operates four facilities with a total of over 1,300,000 sq. ft. storage space. Our facilities are monitored by a 24-hour security system to ensure that your goods are constantly safe in our hands. We also have backup generators so we can continue serving customers during inclement weather. Our custom designed and created database updates inventory balances daily.

Ronaldson Road Warehouse

Our 490,000 square foot facility in Baker Industrial Park features 25 dock-height truck doors with ground access and is fenced and gated.

Ronaldson Road East Warehouse

Our 400,000 square foot facility within the Ronaldson Road Warehouse complex features 20 dock-height truck doors. This facility includes a 100,000 square foot section of temperature-controlled storage.

Barge Canal Road Warehouse and Packaging Plant

This 250,000 square foot facility has 11 dock-height truck doors with ground access, 10 rail dock doors, and 35 railcar spots. It contains equipment to package valve bags, boxes, semi-bulk bags. Rail served by the KCS Railroad.

Leisure Road Warehouse, Packaging and Transfer Facility

Our 180,000 square foot facility in Baker Industrial Park features eight dock-height doors with ground access, six rail dock doors, and sixty-five railcar spots. It contains modern FFS, box, semi-bulk bags, valve bag, and seabulk packaging and transfer equipment. The terminal also provides transloading to or from hopper car to hopper truck. Rail served by the CN Railroad.

Transportation

Agway Systems, Inc. operates Agway Motor Lines — a “for hire interstate motor carrier.”

We offer our clients:

– Regional Truckload Transportation Utilizing 53’ Air Ride Dry Van Trailers
– Interstate Intermodal Transportation between Baton Rouge, LA and Container Depots in New Orleans and the Eastern Gulf Ports
– Our Local Fleet provides Drayage Services between client manufacturing facilities and our warehouse

Packaging

Agway Systems, Inc. provides packaging, repackaging, trans-loading, and screening services from our facilities located on Barge Canal Road and Leisure Road, Baton Rouge, LA.
